It is terrible enough to need to hurt others, but hurting those we're working together with is even more so! Out of everyone, I want us to be able to trust each other!
As long as his majesty cares more about himself than this team, I don't see how it well. I guess you could all agree to just ignore his feelings, but he'd probably become a real nuisance.
That's why I thought the other way might be easier. Only after we'd have ignored him, would we need to make it up to him. But if we need to do it a lot. . . Then your way is much better.
