[You find yourself standing on a wooden platform suspended from the ceiling of a stone dungeon lit by many torches. The platform is held up by 11 woolen threads in your color, and it sways precariously with every movement you make. It doesn’t seem very sturdy at all. . . though in addition to those 11 strings, there are 11 more attached to the side of the platform, one in each other team color. They’re within easy reach.

If you peer over the edge of your platform, you’ll be able to see the floor of the dungeon, though it might not necessarily give you comfort. Dozens of iron, pointy spikes are embedded into the ground, the sharp ends facing up. If you fall, it won’t be a pleasant trip down.

You can also see the other teams suspended on similar platforms around you. They’re far enough away that they probably can’t hear you talking on your own platform, but if you yell, you might be able to communicate. . .]

Is it mathematically possible for everyone to get the same number of strings cut? Maybe if we all worked as a team--!

Mathematically . . . maybe? I'm not sure all of the other teams would agree to even try.

Ugh, of course the portraits will think to kill us all if someone brings it up!

Then . . . if we're going to at least try to survive, we'll have to cut two strings. [Or more, but I don't want to.]

. . .you guys can decide. If anything though, let's try to keep an eye on teams. I don't want us accidentally sending someone to their doom.

Just before we were thrown in here, I saw people yelling heads or tails. And the one called Clover mentioned something about changing the rules. Do you know what that was about?

Something to think about--! You know teams better than I do. If there are any with several friends or family, it might be better to cut their strings. They'll be less likely to fall, I think.

[G-God what are you asking me.]

Lilac is probably the most popular, protected team. Celeste is always going to be targeted. The two new teams . . . I can't touch Iris, but they're either going to be left alone or targeted heavily because they're new, I think. Shell . . . [thinks a bit.]

What's going on with Iris?

Mm. . .I'm just trying to apply at least a little logic to this.
