—No meat. Th-there should be a basket with vegetables under the table.

[going to check underneath the table for vegetables]

[There is indeed a basket under the table! It has a grand total of two sad looking potatoes in it . . .]

[There's some basic cooking supplies and a few utensils, but no bowls :(]

[noooo :( well that's okay. . . she'll peel the potatoes and stick them on knives before holding them out over the fire to cook, and then she'll mash them in the bowl she found them in '-']

[Kit appears in the doorway again]

You found them?

All you had were two potatoes, so I mashed them together for you. They're probably really bland though. . . are you sure you don't want the meat for some flavor?

[he hesitates, then opens the door further for her to come in and set it down]

[steps into the room, glancing around as she searches for a table to put the bowl on]

[There's an end table by one of the beds that's been dragged in here. Said bed has Shark (the not . . . the less crazy one) resting in bed. He's missing one of his forearms.

In the other bed is a blond boy who is much too pale to be even remotely healthy, completely drenched in blood from head to toe. Yayoi is sitting on the floor by his bed, holding his hand and humming softly to herself.

Kit's taken a seat on the end of Shark's bed, holding his head in his hands for a moment.

. . . [places the mashed potatoes on the end table near the beds]

Will you all be okay?

[Yayoi stops humming]

Yes . . . They just need to get enough rest.

But he's so pale! What if he lost too much blood?!

He hasn't. He's just sleeping.
