No. I want you to do something with that focus.
[lifts the telescope, and drops it down (not too roughly, but a bit jarring) next to the trapdoor instead. the lens is now pointing down at the ground.]
You can start by realigning this thing, since you're going to do that anyway.
Focus without action is just inaction.
