Then curtains fall around each group, completely cutting off all noise from the outside, as a piece of paper falls into the middle of the group, your prompt written on it. Right after the paper, a good dozen boxes full of every kind of costume you could want for this production follows, including team uniforms of the other teams, costumes to dress like the portraits, silly props, and anything else that you may think you need.]

Well, for us, something where we have to talk and be nice to people. But for Sage, like the opposite of that.

Or, something everyone else fails amusingly at except for Sage.

[trying to find green costumes... mostly in her size :>]

Pfft. Maybe if it was a competition to see which team could be the most self-sacrificing.

[rummaging... pulls out an empty painting frame. yes good. sets it aside.]

[digging through one of the boxes]

Man, if there were horns in here, I could play Jackal, because, I think, I could do a pretty good, Jackal impression, maybe.

But I guess I could be Apple. Or the yelling guy!

[grandstanding]

[pulls out a... viking helmet]

Would this do?

[takes it and plunks it on her head]

Maybe not the dress, then.

I'll just play myself. [pulling out more stuff] I think I should storm off because I refuse to sacrifice myself, don't you? And then Sage is the only team left.

That's good. Annnd one of us should also be the portrait and explain what the game is, maybe?

[grandstanding]

Hm... shame we don't have three people here.

[hands her a sword]

It's made of rubber, so you can fall on it at the end, and I'll throw the curtains down.

Okay. So, like... okay, blah blah, the game is self-sacrifice, and none of the other teams want to sacrifice themselves, so they quit or whatever, so then it's just Sage, who kill themselves, and it's hilarious!

[grandstanding]

[grabbing some ridiculous feather boas in multiple colours and winding them through the frame, so it looks like it has something in the middle.]

[pulling off the viking helmet, yanking a sage-colored shirt over her head, and putting the helmet back on. A+ preparation]

...you know, if Sage is the last team, they would win by default.

[looking down at the sword, slightly disappointed]

... Right. Okay, well, we can work with that. I'm great at improv.

You can have it so Sage doesn't realise until it's almost too late, if you still want to get that sword ready.
