By the way, just to pass the time while you're planning your dish, I'd like to ask you something. If you could obtain more ingredients by, say, stealing from another team, which one would you take them from?

This is purely hypothetical, of course. Obviously, you're locked in here and can't steal from anyone.

There's two outcomes to this game right now, either we win and survive, while another team dies in our place, or we lose and it means our deaths at his hands.

I'm well aware.

So what would you rather do? Bear your own death and its consequences, or know that the blood of another team is on your hands.

And I refuse to let you push your feelings onto me like that! Regardless of what we decide, no one's blood is on our hands. We won't steal, we won't do anything that involves hurting others. But I won't let you treat our lives like nothing, either. I will protect the people I care about, but that does not mean I will so easily throw away my life just because you say it will help!

Do you know what happened after you were eaten last time? Saffron tried to give themselves up. They offered themselves to the dragon, and he ate them. And then he still made us pick two teams anyways. It didn't save anyone, it only caused more death and suffering. I will not allow you to blindly throw your life away like that!

Hypothetically, I suppose it would depend on which recipes the other teams had. For example, onions would not be a pleasant addition to cream and sugar.

I suppose I could tell you which team's ingredients best suit your own...

Bearing in mind that we've no intent to steal, then, I admit to curiosity. Which team's ingredients would complement ours?

Canary, Cardinal, and Teal all have ingredients that would go well with yours.

.. I fail to see why we'd need more ingredients, Dragon-san. We have plenty here, it seems.
