[You run into the cheery neon setting of a cartoon sushi bar, all decked out in bright plastic colors.

♪ Laid-back music rings out over a tinny PA system, and the walls are covered in encouraging signs:
Taste delicious! Sub-humans welcome! :)

A conveyor belt loops through the room, surrounded by semi-comfortable stools, appearing and disappearing into two human sized holes in the back wall of the restaurant. The belt is decked out with all sorts of delicious morsels:

A slice of vanilla cake. A fresh slice of white meat, lightly singed. A frosted cake slice, cut so only the first letters of C and O is visible. A bottle of oh so fancy liquor.

It goes around and around, the plates identical every time they emerge.

The only cutlery is a set of sharp knives.

But a small red plushie of a dragon with gold-button eyes is there, too.

The dragon’s head is rather cutesy, really with bright button eyes, and only the fact its mouth is completely stitched shut in a grim smile ruins that. The bulk of the dragon is all chubby limbs and soft spikes.

It stares at Kyou judgmentally.]

[. . . uh. what. even...

hesitantly... looking around the place. glancing behind himself, somewhat anxiously to see if Hatter is coming]

[The dragon is sulking. He's hunched down with a cut up tail curled around his forelimbs, sulking.

The food looks delicious.]

[yeah, sorry, no appetite.

... though thinking about how that kid was going on about not wanting to be hungry...

[coming up from the hole, but stopping a few inches from entering the room, ready to back up if the dragon comes at him.]
