You stand on a street tinted red, and so do quite a few other people. They stand on street corners. They lean against walls. They kneel down and open their mouth when grabbed-
I hope no children are present.
The strange thing, these people are never the same. They change appearance constantly to suit base desires; Bigger assets, taller or shorter, blue skin and elf ears, missing limbs and eyes that pop in and out, soft, muscular, young, old, too young, furred and less than human.
The many options, the casual sexuality and easy offering should be arousing, but instead there’s a sense of nausea.
Only sometimes do you catch a glimpse of what lies beneath the avatars: Headless dolls with ball jointed limbs, empty necks lolling and body moved by puppet strings.

That's not cheap. Um, who does it work for... What gang owns this street today?
["I work for him." The doll jerks a thumb in the direction of the burned out corpse. Her voice is emotionally dead when not flirting, completely mechanical.
Baby March talks conversationally to Kyou:]
There could be cats left. Cats are okay. Rats are too stringy.
Which one is fattest, Vegetables or Beef? Vegetable sounds like he'd probably have more add ons, you can sell those, too...
[The doll sways back and forrrth. At some point it bodys flickered into the appearance of some pretty, practically normal teenager, but those eyes are still empty and dead while "He" simpers:
[As you pass the Celeste Blue Spraycan, you suddenly remember something you shouldn't, Kyou, a memory that doesn't belong to you at all but burned into your flesh: March’s pain as he wakes up from being choked out in Shark’s room, the barely suppressed and very real fear in the face of Shark’s never-yielding sadistic crush.
And ice cold rage.
Really, between the master/slave play between Lark and Bunny and Shark's secret sadist streak, Celeste's pretty much just like home.
And further down the street is the start of graffiti, currently hazy through this fog.]
[was going to follow along with Hatter, but that sure was a misstep, a stumble, and a bit of a startled, confused cry while his hands go to his head as that all sinks in.

shakily straightening. glancing to the tiny March for a moment before looking to Hatter, lowering his hands carefully, cautiously]
There’s graffiti already on the walls just over here that’s so flaky it wouldn’t be an effort to scrub away:
What may be a tub of vanilla ice cream, although it’s horribly, clumsily drawn, in Sage color.
A music note... As drawn by someone who has never seen a music note, really. It’s a squiggle, but damn it, they tried.
It’s a melted snowball, otherwise known as a puddle of water. It has a Canary colored outline.
A bloody raincoat.

[SIMULATED AFFAIRS: ROUND 2]
